What is Word Wipe?

Word Wipe is an online word game that is a little different from other word games. In Word Wipe, the player needs to find as many words as possible in a limited time. However, finding words is not enough! The player also needs to clear away a certain number of lines in each level. You could say Word Wipe is a word game with a Tetris-like mechanism, giving the player a goal to reach each time.

The words you create need to be at least three letters long.

You can combine the letters however you like. You can create words vertically, horizontally and diagonally. You can also use all the directions in one go to create words.

Longer words give you more points.

There are hidden words in the game. If you find them, click the letters and drag them to wipe out an entire line.

There is a time limit at each level. You need to be fast if you want to earn more points and wipe out lines.

You need to meet the goal in each level to pass to the next one. If you can’t meet the goal, then the game is over.

When you meet the goals, you also earn bonus bombs. Bonus bombs clear a 3x3 area which gives you a lot of points.

You can always aim to score higher. There is a chart that shows the top scores of the game on AARP Word Wipe. You can see where you are at compared to the other players and work hard to see your name on that list as well!
